More Birthday celebrations!

We celebrated Mitchell's birthday on May 20 so that his Brother Chris could attend. Grandma and Grandpa had balloons, ice cream cake, and of course gifts for Mitch and Maria! Mitch even had some time to ride his battery operated 4 Wheeler inbetween rain showers. Yesterday we spent the day in CF again and Mitch got some more time on the 4 Wheeler. He is getting pretty good at steering--Grandma got lots of exercise running after him while Grandpa sat vigilant at his campfire.

39 Years

This cutest couple entered wedded bliss on May 25, 1968. What an inspiration to the rest of us! Gary and Helen are the definition of marriage. She goes cruisin' with him in his classic cars, and he completes her Honey Do lists. They celebrated with a fine dinner at Norton's in Red Wing on Friday evening. Happy Anniversary!

Mitchell's Work

We may have a photographer in the works! Not too bad from the Fisher-Price Kid Tough Digital Camera!!!

Mitchell's 3rd Birthday!

I can't believe the little fella is 3 years old already! Born on May 14, 2004 at 11:12 pm, 8 lbs 12 oz. I remember my first moment alone with him I said, "Finally! My very own little boy!" The sleepless nights are worth it! I really wanted to include his first born photo in here, but it is taking me way too long to try to dig it up! I'll see what I can do later. Mitch was never a very good sleeper, except when he went to Grandma's house in the country. Since last Thursday night he has been sleeping on the floor and the last three nights he has slept in his "fort" on the floor! But he has been sleeping all night--what a character! We enjoyed some strawberries and mini corn dogs (on a stick!) just like the ladies had them at Sam's Club. We had some cupcakes and he got his own digital camera--I'll see if I can download some of his work!

Mother's Day Gift

In the past I have tried to get a professional portrait of Mitch and Maria with no success. On Saturday we got the kids ready and headed to MOA on a mission! And we got lucky at Sears when they fit us in right away and Mitch really hit it off with the photographer. We were all done in about 15 minutes, but then comes the tough part: choosing which photos and sizes we wanted! We went with the super-size order and even got our own CD so we can print more of our own. She asked me if I wanted to be a member of the "Smile Club" for one year, and while laughing I said, "I haven't had a professional photo of Mitch since he was 4 months old, I don't think we'll be back within the year!" This was the most AWESOME Mother's Day gift!!!
