Biggest Brother

Big brother Chris stops in to visits the siblings when he is in town! Currently Chris just returned from a theater workshop in IOWA. He majors in Theatre and works as an assistant with the theatre at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. It sounds like he will be heading down to Mississippi again this year over spring break to continue his help with Hurricane Katrina vicitms. We look forward to his visits!

The Mitches

We celebrated Robert "Mitch" Mitchell's 70th Birthday in October. Here is a photo of Chuck & Mitch Hoffman, Bob "Mitch" Mitchell, and Mitchell Thueringer (Bob Mitchell's grandson). It was tough, but Jyotti or Barb got some nice photos of the guys!

Chuck grew up next door to Mitch and they spent a lot of time together. Chuck refers to Mitch as his adopted Dad--hence our son's name, Mitchell Sigmeth Hoffman!

Trains

Mitch really loves his trains! He got a lot from Santa! Santa set up a Thomas the Train table and Mitch will play at it for long periods of time! It is great! Sometimes Mom and Dad can even hold a conversation in the evening before the kids go to bed! He knows the engines names and some of their numbers too! His new toddler bedding is Thomas too!

Daddy's Girl

Grandma bought Maria a nice little coat. She said that her mom bought me a nice pink coat when I was a baby and Grandma's are allowed to do that! Maria loves playing around with Daddy--lots of wrestling and acrobatics! Dad makes it tough for the rest of us to just hold and cuddle the little girl!

Popcorn

Mitch and "Mommie" (Gramma) made cookies when he stayed overnight last month. He loves popcorn, and we can even understand his words when he asks for it now! Last weekend he started to call her Gamma! It is tough to find good photos of Mitch as he is always on the go!

Mama's Dress

This was my dress when I was a wee bit smaller. Maria looks terrific in it! She wore the dress when she met Santa in December--no way that it still fits. She is growing like mad!
